The annual general meeting of Pasa pucha guthi UK, Reading was held on 2nd Jan 2021. The meeting has the presence of the chairperson, vice-chairperson, treasurer, outgoing general secretary and other executive members of the guthi. Also, previous chairpersons and advisors were present during the meeting. PPG UK Reading is registered with the Charity Commission of the UK with a purpose of preserve and promote Nepalese identity, Newah culture and language among its members uprooted from Nepal residing in Reading and surrounding areas.
The meeting started with a warm message and wishes exchanged by the president and guests. It was hosted activity by advisor Yadav Shrestha.
Likewise, a short video summarizing all of the events and achievements of PPGUK Reading over the last two years was presented. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions the team managed to innovate and accommodate the events and meetings as per the guidelines of the UK government.
Accordingly, it was decided that the old committee will continue for the next two years with few changes. Rajani Shrestha was handed over the responsibility of general secretary and vice-secretary position was provided to Sudhanshu Malla.
Likewise, Apsara Shrestha and Menaka Shrestha were added under the executive members while Nikhil Shrestha and Sakun Shrestha decided to part the team after two helpful years.
The new committee put forward several events to conduct in the coming two years.

Respectfully re-elected President Ms Janaki Kayastha along with executive members expressed their commitment to the service of Newah community and culture in the UK, while everyone present expressed their greetings and solidarity towards a successful tenure of the team. AGM was then concluded.
